CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

New Year, New Roof

The roof on Balsam House has now been closed in, a major construction milestone! Efforts now turn to starting both interior and exterior cladding. Cameron House is not far behind, with exterior walls in place up to the third storey.

Work also continues on the Club Towns, with timber framing nearing completion on the southernmost block of four units.

Our construction team worked diligently and safely throughout the harsh weather over the holiday period and we’re excited to share more of their progress very soon.

Giving Back To The Community

Community Care Kawartha Lakes is hosting a volunteer fair this coming February. This event is a perfect opportunity to discover what volunteer positions are available and how to get involved in your new community.

The fair is being held on February 15th from 4PM to 6PM at the CCKL offices in Lindsay. You can learn more by visiting the CCKL website or dialing 705-324-7323 ext. 466.

Promising Outlook For 2023 Market

Speaking to the Canadian Mortgage Professional outlet, RE/MAX Canada president Christopher Alexander expressed his optimism about the Canadian housing market for the coming year.

He cited the scarcity of inventory as being one of the primary positive signs for housing prices as the typical flood of new listings during a market downturn hasn’t eventuated. Good news for investors and owners alike!
