CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Springing Up!
Our construction team has continued their strong progress this past month. ICF exterior walls are nearing completion and we anticipate beginning the construction of the roof in the middle of May.
The roof installation is an exciting time as it means we are getting close to “topping out” the building and can begin work on individual suites.
Inside, suite demising walls have been installed on floor 2 and work is continuing on floor 3. Our ductwork and sprinkler contractors have also begun their respective installations.
Stayner Duck Race!
Join in the fun at the Stayner Duck Race on May 6th! Hundreds of rubber ducks will race down the Mad River, with prizes for the first ducks to cross the finish line. Plus, enjoy live music, food vendors, a beer garden, and children’s activities.
Funds raised support local youth programs, community events, and charitable organizations. Don’t miss out on this beloved town tradition and an opportunity to support important community initiatives. Tickets are only $5 each. Activities start at 11 a.m. and races start at 1 p.m. at Centennial/Kinsmen Participark.
Simcoe County Among Best Places to Buy In Canada!
Moneysense Canada has recently published their annual rankings of the best places in the country to buy real estate. They looked at a combination of value and growth potential when determining their rankings.
Unsurprisingly, major metropolitan areas such as Toronto and Vancouver placed near the bottom of their list. However, the Simcoe region ranked 18th with a 5-year growth trend of 108%!
It goes to show that despite the turbulence in the real estate market and wider economy last year, key markets witnessed price growth, and certain regions, Simcoe County included, emerged as still offering exceptional value and growth potential.
