Outside the building, stucco is currently being installed on the east elevation, and the rooftop is being paved to finalize the mechanical systems
Progress inside is also rapidly moving along, with the drywall for the entire building now over 85% complete, the amended duct work is currently being completed on the 8th floor, and floors 2 and 3 are officially primed and ready for paint! The individual units are also starting to take shape! Installation and grouting of the ceramic flooring in the bathrooms has begun, kitchen cabinetry is set to begin installation the third week of October, main floor plumbing in corridors is currently being worked on and electrical is in the final stages on the second floor.
For MDM Developments, it is of the utmost importance to ensure all life safety elements are taken care of in their buildings. Future residents can take comfort knowing that the building at Two33 Dunlop will have the most up to date and detailed life safety measures. Currently all the electrical for the parkade level has been roughed in to prepare for lighting and life safety installation (i.e., alarm pull stations, CO2 stations, and air purifiers). Fireproofing has also been completed in the parkade. The east storm tank and waterproofing is underway, and once that is complete the curbs and parking lot will be finalized.
